Calvin & Hobbes are great! I’ve never heard most of the music before, but I’m not ver esoteric in that area. Prof Pitts makes a somewhat distasteful subject seem intriguing
The discussion section sucks. Too much time is focused on the tutorial book.

I think book homework should be stressed more because problems are usually harder and can better prepare us for tests than the online homework does
Summary’s at end of slides of important equations form the day or important ideas
The discussion sections need improvement. It could be beneficial to go over the problems an work through then so that everyone can understand them. Maybe do fewer problems or not do the tutorials. Just more time going through problems and their solutions! I love the website through, very informative and organized

I don’t like the mathematical aspect of the course. I would rather have more conceptual teaching than problem oriented
Overall, I think the course is run fairly well for what need to be covered
In disc sections as well as working in groups with problems an answer key should be provided with the step by step process on how to solve the problems right when you get the problem. If you can’t solve the problems it does you no good

Next time you are at the theater watching a movie, keep an eye on the upper right hand corner of the screen, every 20 or so minutes, you will see a black dot appear for a fraction of a second. About 10 seconds later the dot will flash again. This occurs every 20 minutes throughout the show but escapes most people’s notice. After you see it one you will always see it! On homework web assignments be more specific as to what is looked i.e. centripetal acceleration, tangent acceleration, combined acceleration
Discussion sections need improvement. There is not enough teaching and too much work that is expected to be done by teaching yourself
May be once or twice a week, we could have a cyber Prof. session in which we ask questions or just work out some problems from cyber Prof. Perhaps it could replace halftime once a week or be 20-40 minutes after class
More example problems like the homework problems would be useful

Exactly how does a cordless mouse work? Instructor comes across being very concerned about anything we have to say or want to know. He’s there for our learning, not just to work on his own studies as some Prof.’s are…grade A J
