I HATE how discussion is 2 hours long. It is a waste of time. All we do is work problems and take a quiz. I can work problems and do my homework on my own time. Make discussion 50 minutes! Take 20 minutes for a quiz attended and the first 30 min. going over specific questions and problem areas where most people have problems. 2 hours is too LONG! CHANGE IT!!!

Slow down a bit, spend more time explaining how /why things work…More examples would be helpful. Sometimes the algebra is obscure or tricky, so explaining it more thoroughly would help significantly

Discussions should be more effective. If a group can not solve a problem, the TA doesn’t always have time to help all groups ,so the group remains stuck on that problem.
