Science:

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Science is a social, as well as an intellectual, endeavor. Scientists search for “truth,” but the search is complicated by human weakness- es such as greed, anger, and ignorance. In addition, philosophical issues complicate the situation. Nevertheless, science seems to make progress. I will discuss how this happens.
