Physics education, physics of dance...
Physics
-
I had been the lecturer for
Physics 102, a non-calculus
course covering electricity and magnetism, as well as a small
amount of quantum mechanics and
special
relativity.
The course
is the second semester in the
introductory physics
sequence often taken
by students in the Life Sciences at
UIUC.
I will begin teaching the Physics 325/326 Intermediate Mechanics and Relativity course in the Spring 2008 semester.

The Age of Networks
- Here's something that cuts across disciplinary boundaries: The Age of Networks: Social, Cultural and Technological Connections, an initiative at the UIUC Center for Advanced Study. The initiative's steering committee includes faculty from Speech Communication, Library and Information Science, Neuroscience & Psychology, Law, History, and Physics (me!). Included is the weekly graduate seminar CAS 587.
