We pulsed the 3rd
generation, 10-stage PMT (6A23C1) with a blue LED for four runs at various
pulser rep rates. We took data for approximately 24 hour intervals.
In between each run we saved our data and printed out plots (this generally
took us about half an hour). The table below summarizes the basic
features of the aging/rate tests carried out on this 10-stage PMT.
The following plots display the performance properties of the PMT as a function of sample number. On these plots vertical lines have been used to denote the termination of one run and the beginning of another (e.g., the data before the first vertical line in each plot corresponds to 1.0 MHz pulsing).
We also created plots of the PMT performance properties as a function of cumulative anode charge. On these plots vertical lines have been used to denote the termination of one run and the beginning of another.
Measurements of the PMT performance properties were also plotted as a function of PMT HV after various points in the above cumulative anode charge studies.
